How To Make Love Like A Porn Star by Jenna Jameson

Despite my regular porn consumption, I actually discovered Jenna Jameson when watching this old VH1 show called “Couples Therapy”, where celebrities go on a retreat to work on their relationships. Jenna was on season 5 with some guy that she didn’t end up with long after the show ended, and this was a rather unique way to be introduced to this legend.

Obviously on the show she talked about her empire and legacy in adult entertainment, but most of the show had tons of vulnerability, and Jenna wasn’t afraid to dig deep. She has clearly never been shy in sharing so much of herself with the public, but the things she shared in this show definitely showed us deeper into Jenna Jameson than any of her videos ever could. She opened up about her childhood trauma, multiple assaults, and the issues she brings into her present-day relationships.

Jenna is one of the most fascinating people on the planet, and I was absolutely hypnotized by everything she did in each episode. Her star-quality is ever present – even when she’s just sitting on the couch in a sweater. I have so much respect and admiration for Jenna, so the second I heard her mention an autobiography, it was already being shipped to me.

Appropriately named, as Jenna is the fucking queen of porn, the book is titled How To Make Love Like A Porn Star. The book may be over 500 pages, but it reads quick, as Jenna knows how to put together a dynamic show even in print. It has actual sex and industry tips, tons of pictures and even some comics, and some really juicy celebrity stories. However, it also highlights the hardships that Jenna has had to overcome in her difficult life. Her story is interesting as fuck, just like Jenna. Some might be interested to learn how she got into the industry, her many lesbian-relationships, or what it was really like to be fucked by Tommy Lee. But the book is also filled with a lot of darkness and sadness, for which I hope she finds peace.

The book was published in 2004, and the VH1 show aired in 2014, so Jenna’s story is still being written every day. I hope that she blesses us with an update to her story sometime soon, as she has since been through more drama, motherhood, and even more world domination since. Until then, I’ll just keep tabs of her life through her Instagram.

Jenna, you are the mother fucking boss of it all, and I am forever a fan.

Thanks for reading!
